Transit are out on The GK Tour and the band has been kind enough to send a Road Blog into PropertyOfZack for fans to keep track of the band on tour. Check it out below!
Hey friends, this is Daniel from Transit. As of right now I’m sitting in the van on the side of the highway in Tucson, AZ. We just started our twenty hour ride to Dallas, and we’re all a little bummed, but Lally’s here, so it’s cool.
Tour has been awesome. It’s been one of the best tours that we’ve ever done as a band, and we’d like to thank Glamour Kills for all the support. I’m pretty sure all but six shows have sold out, and that’s always a good thing. Kids have been coming out and showing support for all of the bands on the tour, and that’s really all we can ask for.
As for the bands on the tour, it’s been great. Every band on the tour are all great friends, and most of us have toured with each other before, so we all hit the ground running on the first day of tour. We’ve all been hanging out, laughing, and just enjoying each day. Spreading the Slug.
Hi this is Tim from Transit. I feel everything that Daniel said above. The 2012 GK tour has been one of the greater tours that we’ve ever been apart of. Every band is so talented and is putting on such a rad show every night. It’s crazy because, at least in my opinion, all of the bands are so different. Everyone who has been a part of this tour- Into It. Over It., the Story So Far, A Loss For Words, Transit, Polar Bear Club, and the Wonder Years are all very different bands. Yet, kids come out to support and sing along to each act every night. It’s too cool.
